“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”    Proverbs 22:6

At the Sunday School of the Church of South India, we are deeply committed to educating children. Our primary aim is to impart the teachings of the Bible to each child, with the aspiration of nurturing a profound connection with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We seize every opportunity to demonstrate God’s grace to every young soul, empowering them to carry His message wherever they journey throughout their lives.

Vision Statement

“Teach children the right way to live, and when they are older, they will not stray from it.” – Proverbs 22:6

Our primary objective is to instill in children the fundamental teachings of the Bible, fostering a lasting bond with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We aspire for our children to experience a sense of belonging and affection within our church community, enabling them to engage comfortably in the study of God’s Word.

Mission

Sunday School contributes to KUTS Seminary’s theology education efforts annually during Christmas dedicated to raising funds specifically for this cause. Through these initiative, Sunday School not only provides financial assistance but also cultivates a spirit of generosity and community involvement among its members, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for theological education and its significance within the church.

Eligibility Criteria

Children aged 4 and above are warmly welcomed to join Sunday School, where they can begin their journey of learning and spiritual growth. Even if a child has reached confirmation, they continue to be part of Sunday School until they reach the age of 18. This inclusive approach ensures that children have the opportunity to engage with age-appropriate curriculum, participate in meaningful activities, and deepen their understanding of the Christian faith throughout their formative years. Whether they are just starting their Sunday School experience or have progressed to a more advanced level, every child is valued and supported in their ongoing spiritual development within the Sunday School community.
