The CSI Church Toronto believes in partnering and living together in harmony with the neighbourhood, thereby uplifting the goodness and mission of Christ in the land where God placed us.  We are regularly involved in several community services such as the Scott Mission, Samaritan’s Purse, Toronto Male Voices & Ecokids Child Care. This gives rise to opportunities for our members to volunteer and offer their talents and services for the community. A few are listed here:

Eco Kids Child Care

Mondays through Fridays the basement of our church functions as a day care center for young kids. The large area both indoors and outdoors serve as a healthy space for an excellent learning environment for the young minds. The day care is run by very passionate and licensed professionals in a very organized and disciplined manner.

Samaritan’s Purse

Our Sunday School is regularly involved with the activities of the Samaritan’s Purse. This gives our young children a global view of the life and suffering of other children like themselves. The Samaritan’s Purse is a non-denominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet the needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Sunday School children participate in their annual Operation Christmas Child program that collects gift-filled shoeboxes and distributes them to struggling kids in the developing world. The program has brought joy-and a powerful message of hope-to over 135 million children so far.

The Scott Mission

The Scott Mission is a Christian ministry of mercy and love. They aim to meet the needs of people with love and compassion and seek to bring spiritual, physical, and emotional wholeness to their lives. Their various ministries offer support and provisions for the homeless, low-income families,  children and youth. Our Men’s Fellowship regularly meets up and are involved with the Scott Mission to cook and serve for the poverty stricken communities.

Toronto Male Voices (TMV)

This is a group of inter-denominational Christian men who enjoy music and singing and are able to nourish their great talent. They meet a few times every month to learn and sing choral songs of praise and worship to the Almighty under the dynamic leadership of (our church) The CSI Church Toronto’s Choir Master – Daniel Thomas, alias Danichen. TMV works to be a platform for Christian musicians (singers, song writers, and instrumentalists), particularly from immigrant nations to Canada, irrespective of their style of music or rendition to glorify God and His awesome work through the expression of music.
