Leaning on The Saviour
Celebration of the New Ministry Service for Anish M George Padickammanil was conducted on Sunday, January 6, 2019 (The Feast Epiphany) by Suffragan Bishop Rt. Rev. Jenny Andison, York-Credit Valley, Diocese of Toronto, Anglican Church of Canada. The year of 2019 saw a spurt of growth in members in our church. There were 83 members added to our church as result of years of prayers. Anish Achen focused on the Word of God and steered the church to prepare for the end times and the second coming of Jesus Christ for His bride church. The Most Reverend Thomas K Oommen, Moderator of the Church of South India, arrived in July. He conducted the confirmation services for many of our youngsters. This year our church bagged the 3rd prize in the Kerala Christian Ecumenical Fellowship Quiz competition. The year ended with an amazing carols service and house to house singing waiting to welcome the new year and totally unaware of what the new year had in store for us and… for the entire world!
