Events in 2018

Compared to an exciting and thrilling 2017, 2018 was less eventful as our George Jacob Achen and family left Canada for the next phase of their spiritual career. We also welcomed Rev. Anish M George Padickamannil and his young family into our church as our new Vicar. In the months of June and July 2018, our homeland Kerala saw immense destruction due to heavy rains and flooding. About one million people were displaced and several districts were on high alert. But God brought us through these perilous times. Our church made donations towards the damages due to the floods and helped supply necessary kits to over 21 camps. Thus ended another year with blessings, challenges and opportunities to serve and magnify the Lord. An Ad Hoc Committee was elected for the Constitution Amendment, to comply with the requirements of the incorporation of CSI Church, Toronto. The revised constitution was approved and adopted by special resolution of the General Body Meeting held on December 2, 2018.
