Bishop Rt. Rev. Jenny Andison was consecrated on January 07 2017, by the Archbishop of Toronto Anglican Diocese. Our Church Choir was cordially invited to perform at the Induction Service of Bishop Andison.
The Church continued its planning for the 31st CSI Family and Youth Conference of North America with zeal and passion. But in the midst of this, Mr. Philip Mathai, who had held several key positions in our church, entered his heavenly abode in January 25, 2017.
From July 6th – 9th of 2017, we hosted the 31st CSI Family and Youth Conference of North America at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre. The Theme chosen for the conference was to tie in with the CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese 2017 Theme, “Celebrating Life in its Abundance and Fruitfulness” (John 10:10 and Galatians 5: 22, 23). This conference was an outstanding event in the life of our church bringing all of us together as a family for a period of spiritual revival, rededication and fellowship. The Conference closed with a Holy Communion service at our Church on July 9th, 2017. The conference was attended by over 500 members and was a huge success by the grace of God and immense support from our church members, hence we witnessed another proud and outstanding moment for our Church
The Kerala Christian Ecumenical Fellowship (KCEF) conducted a Bible Quiz Competition among its member churches, over 20 churches participated and we are proud to have bagged the 2nd prize for this. An outstation of our church was started in Edmonton, Alberta and this indeed was a Great Ministry for the community.
