Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.(Timothy 4:12)

We can be proud that the YOUTH of CSI Church, Toronto had set an example in the way they served Our Lord, through various activities at our Church in the past year. One such event showcasing the enthusiasm of our youth was the Youth Sunday, 20 Jan, 2013. Our Youth members handled all the service activities of a regular Sunday Service. Youth members started the service with a prayer, sang the choir songs for the full service, and conducted all the other aspects of the service, assisting our Achen.

Other activities like Intercessory prayer and collecting the offertory were examples where our youth involved themselves. The Sermon given by our Youth leader Philip C. Mathai, was an apt message which catered to both the youth and their parents. Considerable efforts and time went in for the preparation. Parents of all our youth were even more enthusiastic to make this occasion a successful one.

Such occasions and activities enable our youth to tap into their potential, and bring out the best in them; proving to others and to themselves that they are indeed worthy to be called “Children of God”. We as parents and elders are happy that we can confidently pass on the mantle into their able hands. The light and happiness they bring to their families were brought into our Church too that Sunday morning. Praise the Lord!

God Bless you all,
