Vision Statement
Take an active role as a Church in making known the gospel of Jesus Christ to our local community and beyond, and to support other global missions-related initiatives that helps the Universal Church fulfill the Great Commission
Mission
- Internal Missions: Serve each other, grow in faith and character, encourage participation in internal and/or external missions, and raise a generation of future leaders for Christ
- External Missions/Outreach: Spread the good news of the gospel within our local communities, volunteer to learn about potential challenges to solve with the correct mission theology, Discipleship and Church partnerships
Eligibility Criteria
- Member of CSI Church, Toronto
- If you wish to support our charities or mission initiatives, kindly contact your Vicar or the Mission Director
Operational Structure
- A Mission committee is formed to help plan and execute mission related activities for the year.
- The director meets with the directors of other ministries to facilitate mission activities that would include people from all other ministries.
Activities
Internal Missions

- Kingdom Come: is an initiative launched by the CSI Church Toronto’s Youth Ministry with the intention to develop the next generation of leaders who stand for Christ. This includes a mentorship/discipleship program, skills development workshop, and engaging in missionary work through church partnerships.
- Seasonal Mission Retreats: When a survey was sent out to the congregation, almost 70% of the members selected “Biblical view on ideal “Family Dynamics, and practical tips for sounds mental and spiritual health” as their preferred retreat topic. Members of CSI Church Toronto have volunteered to speak on the selected topic during the seasonal retreats (Autumn, Winter, Spring/Summer).
