DESCRIPTION:From CSI Church Toronto  \nBabu M. Joseph\, a founding member and the first organist of the CSI Church Toronto passed away in his home on Monday\, March 22\, 2021 at the age of 78\, in Toronto\, Canada. \nFrom the Joseph Family  \nBabu was a beloved husband\, father\, grandfather\, brother\, uncle\, friend and tenor. Born in Kerala\, India\, to the late Magistrate A.C. Joseph and Baby Joseph\, he leaves behind Soosamma “Susan”\, his wife of 46 years; children\, Sheila\, Shawn and daughter-in-law Sneha; and\, grandchild\, Pascal. \nDue to the current circumstances\, the funeral attendance for Babu Joseph is by invitation only. Regretfully\, we are unable to invite everyone who has expressed a desire to pay their respects in-person to attend a viewing or the funeral. We truly appreciate all the support and insights family and friends have extended to us. We ask those who would like to express condolences or memories of Babu to please post messages and photos on the Ogden Funeral Home Tribute Wall. Dad supported many causes. Should you wish to make an expression of sympathy\, it is suggested that memorial donations be made to a charity important to you or to him. A suggested list can be found at the Ogden Funeral Home Donations section. \nThe family put together a Spotify playlist of some music Dad enjoyed. SUMMARY:CSI Madhya Kerala Diocese Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:CMS Travancore and Cochin diocese was erected under the Jerusalem Bishopric Act in 1879\, John Speechly was consecrated as the bishop\, by Archibald Campbell Tait\, Archbishop of Canterbury\, on 25 July at St Paul’s Cathedral. He returned to Kottayam on 27 January 1880 and served as the first Bishop of Travancore and Cochin. July 25th was the day of St James. So we are celebrating it as Madhya Kerala Diocesan day.\nOn 27 September 1947\, the four southernmost dioceses of protestant missionary movements united and form the Church of South India. The presiding bishop at the CSI’s inauguration was C. K. Jacob\, Bishop of Travancore and Cochin\, who became Bishop in Central Travancore. Later this diocese renamed as Madhya Kerala Diocese.
