“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”    Proverbs 22:6

At the Church of South India Sunday School, we take the responsibility of teaching children seriously. Our main goal is to illustrate the truths of the Bible to each child. In the hope that we can help lead each child into an amazing relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. So, while we have a chance, we will show each youngster God’s goodness so that they may be His message everywhere they go for the rest of their lives.

Vision Statement

Our main goal is to give the children the foundational truths of the Bible so that they will develop a life-long relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Mission

The goal is for our children to feel welcome and loved by our church family so that they feel comfortable to learn the Word of God.

Operational Structure

Sunday School classes mirror the school year. Classes start in September after Labour Day weekend. Classes finish at the end of June. There are no classes during the Christmas and March break.

Our Sunday School classes are held every Sunday morning from 9:30 – 10:20 am. We start with singing praise and worship songs. Then students proceed to their classes. Each lesson consists of a Bible reading, memory verse, a written activity, discussions, crafts and a closing prayer.
