The Right Reverend THOMAS K. OOMMEN

Rt Rev. Thomas Kanjirappallil Oommen was consecrated as the Bishop of Madhaya Kerala Diocese of the Church of South India at the CSI Holy Trinity Cathedral Kottayam on 6th of March 2011. Born to Thalavadi Kanjirappallil late KC Oommen and Mariamma in 1953 Nov 29, Rev Oommen gained his theological degree from the Senate of Serampur University and postgraduate degree from Pune Union Biblical Seminary and had his further studies in New York Theological Seminary under Norman Gotwald.

He was one of the most dynamic and powerful pastors in the Diocese of Madhaya Kerala. As a pastor and missionary he has shown his good organization in the entire realm of ministry. He served the Church as Finance Board secretary, the Pastoral Board secretary of the Diocese, CSI Synod Executive Committee member.

Bishop Thomas K Oommen is married to Dr. Susan Thomas a social worker cum theological trainer and they are blessed with two children.

The Most Reverend COLIN R. JOHNSON

Archbishop Colin Robert Johnson is our Diocesan Bishop. He is the chief pastor of the Diocese, with pastoral oversight of 202 parishes.

Archbishop Johnson was elected Suffragan bishop on April 23, 2003 and was consecrated on June 21, 2003. He served as the area bishop of Trent-Durham until February 2006. He was elected Diocesan Bishop on June 12, 2004, and installed as the 11th Bishop of Toronto on Sept. 12, 2004.

On Oct. 15, 2009, he was elected Metropolitan (senior bishop) of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario. With a reorganization of the Diocese of Moosonee, in Northern Ontario and Quebec, Archbishop Johnson, as Metropolitan, also became the Bishop of Moosonee on January 1, 2014.

Born in 1952, he was educated at the University of Western Ontario and received his Master of Divinity degree from Trinity College in 1977. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1978 and served a number of parishes in the Diocese of Toronto before becoming Executive Assistant to the Diocesan Bishop in 1992 and Archdeacon of York in 1994.

The Right Reverend PHILIP M. POOLE

Suffragan bishop & Area bishop of York-Credit Valley, Diocese of Toronto, Anglican Church of Canada

Bishop Philip Poole is the area bishop for the York-Credit Valley Episcopal Area, which is the southwestern part of the Diocese of Toronto.

Bishop Poole was educated at Wilfrid Laurier University and received his Master of Divinity degree from Trinity College in 1977 and his Master of Theology from Trinity College in 1988. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1978 and served in three parishes in the Diocese, most recently as the incumbent of Trinity, Aurora. He also spent two years as a school chaplain, responsible for worship and spiritual growth of 450 boys, faculty and staff, including counseling and teaching.

Bishop Poole is a past president of the international Compass Rose Society, which supports the work of the Anglican Communion Office, with special attention on Communications. He is the only Canadian to have held this post.
