Sunday School Anniversary & Talent Show

Sunday school Anniversary & Talent Show 2012-’13 was held on Sunday, February 17, 2013 after the worship service. The function started with the hymn ‘How Great Thou Art’ followed by prayer by Rev. Shaji M. Johnson, and Bible reading. Achen blessed the occasion with his inspiring presidential address.
Sunday School report 2012 was presented by the Director Ms. Raimole Joseph. The report reflected the mercies and guidance of our Lord throughout the year. It is really commendable that our teachers could successfully instill the life giving spirit of our Holy Father in children.

Anniversary was the time for celebrating the talents of children along with a retrospection into last year’s activities. The skits and the songs by each class proclaimed the strong foundation of faith our kids have developed through these years of Bible learning and other interactive sessions. Then followed the individual presentations, where even our toddlers came forward and entertained the audience in their own ways. The effort and time taken by each parent towards their kid’s performance is appreciated. In Psalm 139:14, David says,

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that fully well.”

In each performance we heard them joining the Psalmist David in saying “I’m God’s masterpiece. I’m wonderfully made. I’m talented. I’m original.”. We are proud of you all!

Every student was felicitated and awarded for their Annual Test performance and participation. Our committed team of teachers and youth volunteers were also honoured for their dedicated service.

We took a moment to say goodbye to two of our students: Joshua Koshy and Jonathan Koshy, who are moving to New Jersey. The slide show complied by Ms. Shini Samuel was a tribute to the active church life of these two young gentlemen. The Sunday School wishes all the best for their future.

The day was made unforgettable by our MCs, Ms. Diani Mathai & Ms. Megan Thomas.

The function concluded with vote of thanks and prayer.
